The owner, Denise and the designer Joe-Anne Conway of Architerior Design Group were very hands on with very specific requirements. Features like the antique tin ceiling panels (sourced by Denise) on some of the doors and facia work around the Range.

The bulk of the work on this project was made of Alder with various stains, glazes and distressing intensity. Some of the feet, legs and mouldings where made using green Alder (not kiln dried) In hopes of future shrinking and cracking.
You may notice real wood pegs on some of the doors and genuine antique nails.
The Bar top and Beer Tower were made of old growth Douglas Fir. The Beer Tower itself was custom turned and 'Branded' with a bent nail at A.J. Drury's shop. The tower was originally made as a gift for the owners, but upon receiving this 'Gift' A.J. Drury was commissioned to "Make it work!" A beer keg cooler was purchased and a refrigerated beer line of some 40 feet was implemented.

Armoire unit off of the bar area is an AV Cabinet. The middle section raises behind the panel above to expose a TV Screen. An old squeaky pulley and a bag of lead shot were employed to counterbalance the opening door.
